Ok here is the finished stairway thingy I created. Looks so cool to! I will add some kind of fabric to the back to make it stand out from the stairs, but not sure what yet. Still to dusty to add yet tho, because we still sanding sheet rock in that room....uggggggg....soon it will all be done...( I think I say that in my sleep...lol ) Both of these are actually doors to cover the storage area under the stairs cool huh?

I also finished chinking the kitchen so I can now do the floors to get the appliances out of the living room. Look close to see the great find I got for the stairway. I wanted a tree there but we finished the sheet rock before I remembered, so it was left out. This will take its lace....no worry it's been vacant for over a year. Aaron texture painted my bedroom ceiling, but it will need a second coat tomorrow...uggg...I finished the tile backdrop in the master bath and also did the textured stone x/s and o's with hearts. This will be painted in the morning. Window seal has been painted and sealed. I also hung my towel racks. This bathroom is almost complete.

I guess I better clear a few things up on my painting colors....I have had a few emails about why everything is blue.Don't get me wrong I love the feedback! But..... I have mentioned blue is my favorite color....Even though its all blue and all the same 4 blues. It's different techniques in each room. I have included a few close up pics of each room so you can see it really is different. The living room/hall is brown like the underneath of the stairs. yes it may or may not be same technique but hey its all in one room really. Aaron loves all the rooms so guess what...he wants blue to...lol...upstairs will be way different. Wyatt's room is Auburn colors again blue ( different blue )...lol...and orange. Blake's room...LSU purple and yellow, and the foyer antique lace with army green.

See not all the same looking but all blue...so now that we have cleared that up.....lol...Look what I did in the master bedroom for a closet/entertainment center. I haven't finished it yet but its framed only need to add the doors...which I have to make. This other thing I made goes under the stairway. Looks funny but I know when its done it will be fabulous! I used the wine holder material from a cabinet shop and pieced it together, not to hard just a pain to get it all together after I cut it. Was in small sections of 1 1/2' x 2'. I am going to make a smaller one for ontop the freezer section tonight. New freezer Randy bought this past week....don't work at all Lowes is delivering a new one today...ugggggg....the things I go thru....

All the molding is up, Blake and I have installed the cabinet vanity and closet. Now I have to install the doors, cut out the counter top and do the concrete overlay on it just like I did the other but I am going to do white with a lil blue this time. I still have to put up the back splash tile and molding, make the medicine cabinet, and install the light.

Again Blake my best worker, and I made this closet/entertainment center for Randy and I's bedroom. I also painted the bedroom with the primer last night and dark blue paint tonight, its dark but it will be ligter when I add the next 2 colors I also stained the logs where the closet will be. Others will be stained later. Stain smell got to me and I was very sick, so I took the most of the rest of the day off. But before I laid it down for the night I painted under the stairway, because last night I also primed it. After it dried I added white rag rolled paint with a glaze tint. The floor has been done in here a while, I still have to add the molding here.This closet/free space is almost done. This is where we are putting the stand up freezer, and i guess storage. It looks a lil dark but really looks nice in person. I'm going to add a lil wall but not sure where to start till I get the freezer in.

Now this room rocks! I love it more than the other bath. I think the cabinet looks a lil big, but hey it fit perfect there. The cabinets in this bath were bought.For the reason being they were from a cabinet shop here in the county and made here in the good ol USA. But mostly because they were such a great price I couldn't make them for less. Their stained already close enough to my pecan color and all real wood! Couldn't beat that less labor for me! All that's left is to install the vanity cabinet/closet,sink, molding, and grout the part of the floor that I didn't finish.

Now I have finished painting the translucent blue on the textured stone area. I think it looks awesome! Molding has been cut, stained, clear coated and installed. I was finished painting the walls, but as I looked it over...and over...I just thought it looked to ummmmm plain...i know what your thinking why can't she just be normal...lol...i was never accused of being normal either....soooooooooo i took white paint and added glaze and gold shimmers and ragged it over the blue. It looks wonderful! Surprised myself. Look close to see the white glaze not sure you can see shimmers on these pics....Ceiling is now painted...DON'T EVER let anyone tell you its easier to texture a ceiling thick! It's not!, and also it's a monster to paint! But it does look good.I knew walls would look awesome....What do you think....I need feedback here people! I still have a bit of work to do in here. Upper molding needs to be stained and installed, counter top/closet needs to be built. Then I will grout the floor........getting there....

All the pudding sanding,priming, and painting is done on the master bath walls .Have to paint the ceiling and the lil wild hair idea I had but its looking up! Look closely and you can see the X,O, and hearts on the textured stone I did instead of using tile molding. I'm going to add wood to the top and bottom of it, and paint it with a dark blue glaze thats transparent. In my mind it is going to rock!. Believe it or not most of the down stairs is painted blue. Its all painted a lil different but its mostly all blue. What can I say I love blue. Master bath has shinny silver colored facets so I bought this awesome looking very tall candlestick that was a rusty white, I striped it and painted it shinny silver. I also bought this metal hunter green stool...old one of course...and an old metal pink hamper. You guessed it I striped them and im going to paint them also. Hamper will go in laundry room but stool is going in my bath. I also bought this shinny metal bin to use as a hamper in my bath. I know what some of you are thinking....why buy old stuff and spend time refinishing it when you can buy new.....well....if you know me....you know i love a challenge and i love old stuff....also made better and last alot longer ....soooooooooo...thats why....call me crazy, but hey i never claimed to be sane...hehe....

Looks awesome don't it! I just love this bath. Can't wait till the master bath is done! This room is now complete, now off to another. These pics are the upstairs foyer. Cut outs are one for a closet door and other for attic access door. Pic of stairs is looking downstairs. This room is in between the two upstairs bedrooms and is about 10 1/2 ft long by 8 1/2 ft wide. I striped the bed I'm using for Randy and I's bed and then repainted it, was white now as you can see it's brown. Its going to be a queen size because I didn't want to fill the room with all bed, I know its an old one but it looks just awesome in the house. Plus its the bed I always wanted, reminds me of my days spent at the farm back home with my grandparents in Raceland, Louisiana.
We took yesterday off to have fun at the lake. Last pics are of boys goofing off but having fun.

This is the master bath. I completed all the wall tile, and grouted it. Boys have puttied all the walls and the celing. They sanded it and re puttied for 2nd time. Soon we shall start painting. I know tile looks a lil weird on last 3 rows, but my wild haired ideas keep kicking in....i think it will look great when finished.Ceiling is completed all but the paint, Man was that ever hard. I think we put to much plaster..oh well....its done so we moving on. Oh by the way don't I have some pretty boys?...lol...Look out girls!

Medicine cabinet is stained, clear coated,mirrors installed and now hung, I cut peaces of plastic leveler blind ( this is what kinda blinds i hung in both baths ) to make the lil frames around them....came out pretty good....ain't I thrifty....lol.......tiles are grouted and molding around them are also done. Floors repaired, and extension of tub is painted and clear coated I made a step to help with entering and exiting the tub I need to attache it...only other thing left in this bath is the counter top and installation of the sink. This will take at least 7 days more because it takes 7 days for the overlay to cure before I can install the sink....hopefully we shall have it installed in the nest two weeks. I did the overlay tonight but it has to dry now....will put top coat on at 1 am...yea I know work work work...almost looks like i finger painted one end but other side looks awesome! I also cut out the molding for the counter top. My curtains are down again so I didn't stain them when I clear coated the logs, kinda hard to see them but they go great with everything. I found some fine gold tool, shimmering and wrapped it around the shower bar for a curtain, then hung some beads on twine....turned out pretty nice even the kids like it....that's a shock. I also added a live plant on top of the shower cabinet. I'll send a final picture when its all done.












































































OK now I added 2 more top coats to the counter top, and the molding I cut...Was a lil plain to me so I added gold webbing. I think it rocks! What do you think?
