Well it's still April and we have gone quite a ways, the studs for all the walls are up, floor joust are up and we are starting on floor number two to be able to get to the rafters. Things are done a little different on a homemade log home than most conventional homes or log packages. We added a few steps for strength, and made all the rafters ourselves. Matter of fact Randy wasn't here for any of the rafters. Aaron myself Wyatt and Blake all worked hard on this part. Most of them were made from rough cut wood, and very very heavy! First one liked to got us but after that, things went pretty smooth. You might not be able to tell but roof is on a 43 degree angle.
