First picture is the sink counter top for master bath, done in concrete overlay. Second picture is Aaron's nightstand top also done in concrete overlay. I been very busy this summer. I stained and clear coated the staircase while the boys were in Louisiana for 2 weeks. Next pic Blake helped brace the side cabinet I fixed and was the only one small enough to get in it...lol...last 2 pics are the counter top in my kitchen and the dishwasher installed. See I do like blue.....but hay it's my house right.....

I had to cut this sink cabinet and add a foot to it, because it was to short when I bought it. I knew I could fix it, and it was the only one I could get that matched my cabinets. I extended it a foot then added a door, and now it looks a lil off with only one big door but I think it works. I put the plywood top then added a cement board on top for moisture safety. Gas was connected to the stove today and heaters installed in the bathrooms (winters here we loose power a lot so these are for back up). I added the molding on the counter top, Blake installed 1 of 2 veneer blinds, I had my claw foot tub sandblasted and buffed by Andrew Mitchem, he did an awesome job on it! I had him do the outside only. I was going to try and save the original inside, but sigh.....to bad of shape, so I have to paint it. I am going to try the good appliance paint. Lets hope it works! First pic is what it looked like when I got it, second is after cleaning....ugggggg.....Third pic you can see the outside good....It looks great! Fourth pic is first coat of paint....I think it will work!

Blake helped me install the lower cabinets and made the counter top for me. He also installed it. I added knobs to all the workable doors and drawers. I still have to install the fake drawers on the two left hand cabinet tops. Hard to see it in the pics but the second section is a china cabinet

to display my china, that's why there's no doors on this section. I also need to add the glass to the two right hand sections. It took 182 pcs of tile to do this counter top. I used the same tile I put on my antique cabinet. Checkerboard periwinkle blue and sand. Still have to add crown molding and chink. Also added a silverware box with 5 boxes. Look close in last 2 pics and you can see 1 basket, there will be 5.

The part of the floor I was able to install I grouted tonight. I also installed another upper cabinet, what can I say a woman never has enough room. I always wanted glass blocks in my bathroom, I hunted and hunted never found them but I did find a window 3' x 8' made from acrylic blocks made to look like glass. Even better because less to break. So I bought it. Took off all the aluminum and separated the blocks to what I needed. Here is the way it looks now. I am going to box it in and add crown molding to make it look like it was made to the wall. I also made this lil contraption to hide my water shut off behind the toilet....it was installed on the outside of the toilet instead of the inside....I don't like it showing that much so I'm going to hide it. The dowels are from the extras on the kitchen cabinets. I painted it white and I am going to weave cloth thru it and slip it right up next to the shut off valve so if need be we can get to it fast.Might add a plant on or near it.
