Grouted the guest bath today and started the molding....what a challenge...this room is a lot smaller than we wanted it but the way we calculated was with the logs on outer edge and they are inside and about 6 inch's wasted per side per room so the rooms are smaller than we expected....but hey its a bathroom how much room do you really need? Check out my first cabinet I built! All by myself to! No plans just built it...neat eh? All the cabinets for this bath will be made with some of the wood that was taken from the original cabinets that were made for the house I was raised in, in Louisiana made by Chester Kreamer. Wood was real stuff then not the cheap stuff they make today. All I did was cut it, strip it, sand it, and re stain it.....boy let me tell ya it was work cause it had 35 years of crud on it. The door's are the only thing I left in tack, everything else was remade to my room needs. See Dad it pays to save some things...hehe...Thanks again! Blake and Wyatt helped me hang this cabinet to the wall, but I made it all by myself, had to paint the sides of the doors like that so I could hide the marks of the original handles and hindges but it looks ok I guess. I installed the tiolet with very little help everyone's giving up been so long now since we started this project. Vanity is next...uggggg

Figures the first room completed would be a working kind of room...lol...Here is the laundry just about finished I have 2 pc's of molding left to put on I screwed up the one pc I had grrrrrr cut it at the right angle but backwards....don't ya love the copper accent on the dryer vent pipe? Looks awesome but the pic don't really look as well as it does in person...first pic is with copper then 2nd pic is both washer n dryer with new lil roll away cabinet in between...Oh and I chinked the top log and added a shelf where I can hang clothes coming out of the dryer temporally....so this room is completed! (well OK I need to add a cabinet to hide the water pipes on the hot water heater ) last pic is regular dryer pipe without copper I think it looks so much better with copper...gonna look really old soon and that's the look I'm looking for.....bathroom is looking up I painted it all and have tiled it but I need to grout it still... Light/vent has been installed in guest bath and I need to add molding....last pic is master bath we just did the ceiling sheet rock today...work work work....
